FDB Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards Launches the 2026 Awards Season
The FDB Fiji Excellence in Tourism Awards (FETA) has officially launched its 2026 awards season, marking an exciting new chapter with the announcement of a three-year naming rights partnership with the Fiji Development Bank (FDB). The partnership reflects a shared commitment to recognising excellence across Fiji’s tourism industry and celebrating the businesses and individuals who continue to demonstrate outstanding performance, leadership, innovation and sustainability.
As part of the launch, FETA proudly announced the induction of Malolo Island Resort and Likuri Island Resort into the prestigious FETA Hall of Fame. This honour is reserved for category winners who have achieved three consecutive wins, recognising their sustained excellence and significant contribution to Fiji’s tourism industry.
- Malolo Island Resort has been inducted following three consecutive wins in the Accommodation – Deluxe (Less than 50 Rooms) category.
- Likuri Island Resort has earned Hall of Fame status after three consecutive wins in the Accommodation – Budget category.
Congratulations to both resorts on this outstanding achievement.
The FETA online registration portal for the 2026 awards program, culminating in the 2027 Awards Ceremony, will open on 27 July, marking the beginning of another season dedicated to celebrating excellence within Fiji’s tourism industry.
Over the coming months, FETA will provide regular updates on the awards program, including key milestones, participating businesses, important dates and its new Q&A webinar, which has been introduced to support participants throughout the application process. The awards continue to provide an important platform for recognising the individuals and organisations whose commitment, innovation and service excellence strengthen Fiji’s tourism industry.
